Maryam habib från Syrien bosatt i Tyskland

MARYAM HABIB
From Syria living in Germany
Oriental Dance

The fantastic shows and the great stars
of the Cairo dancing scene inspired her even as a child.
And for exactly that she was living her life:
Cairo, Syria and Europe were among the
places where she learnt oriental dance
with it´s different styles. Folkloristic groups and well known arabian and international dancers were her taskmasters.

After 2 professional schoolings (state examination:
tech. University Munich, diploma: IWANSON) the experienced Ballet,
Modern and Jazz dancer is working with
numerous companies, artists and agencies.

The authentic oriental dance with it´s back to
basics and traditional style that is Mariam´s passion.
Her shows enthuse
with her breathtaking technique,
expression of the arabic way of life.
Since 2006 she performes together
with the group Silamahs from Munich.
The four professional dancers enchant their
audience with their ambitious and unique shows all over germany.

The dancing pedagogue is very successful working as a teacher.
For Mariam it is not only technique that
her students can expect to learn it is
also the arab way of life, the appreciation
of the music and the visible expression
* that make Mariam´s lessons interesting and compelling.

Since 1995 she has worked as a teacher
(for groups of all standards of knowledge)
and as a choreographer not only in
her own dancing school “Saphira”,
but all over Germany.
